Two New Job Titles and new test requirements

Two new CWA job titles have been created: Technical Systems Assembler (100213; TG6) and Staging Technician (100212; TECH). See the job briefs for more information.

Both titles will be permanently located in Southaven, MS (a suburb of Memphis, TN) beginning in the Spring of 2006. Prior to that date, employees new to the titles will be located in St. Petersburg, FL for training until December, 2005, and will then move to a temporary location in Memphis until the Global Staging Center in Southaven opens--which is expected in April, 2006.

The test requirement for both jobs is the Staging Work Experience Questionnaire (SWEQ), but due to technical problems with ATP the test does not currently show on the Job Brief or on Requisitions. The SWEQ is currently an Additional Basic requirement, which means that you can put in a Placement Request for an opening even if you are not already test qualified, but you will have to be test qualified before you can be selected for an open job. Starting on November 1, the test requirement will become Basic, meaning that you will have to be test qualified before the requisition closes.
