2007 Legislative Session #5

                                                                                                                                                                                                   12 Pages

Sisters and Brothers,

We have one month under our belt and the action on Capitol Hill is at a mighty pace. The mood at times has a different feel but the old whiff of arrogance floats by often in the House and every now and then in the Senate. This is a process that is ever tireless, the issues move on the whim of the leadership. Your persistence in contacting our legislators on our issues is leading the pace and has kept our issues in play. Often we don’t see the fruits of our labor until the bitter end. It is imperative we pump up the volume of calls, letters, faxes, emails to the leadership in both the House and Senate to Committee Chair’s and Committee Members and to all your local legislators. Your actions keep hope alive and frankly keep me going. Prospects are moving in our favor, no slacking allowed. Spur on your members participation as only you can. Remember:

ONE PERSON CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. Keep on keeping on!

In Unity, Gail Marie Perry, Chairman     CWA COUNCIL OF FLORIDA    PO BOX 1766 Pompano Bch. Fla.     33061                                        TEL./CELL 954 850 4055
