After a number of meetings held today between the parties CWA, IBEW and Lucent Technologies agree they have an ample basis to stop the clock and continue to bargain. Our apologies for not notifying all the locals earlier but we were in constant dialogue with the company trying to work through the outstanding issues. The parties have agreed to engage the bargaining teams starting Sunday morning in the hopes of reaching a fair and equitable contract. As we get more information we will make it available.
