JOHN SWEENEY TO RALLY THE TROOPS IN FLORIDA!

 

This just in: ALSO JOINING US IS SENATOR MAX CLELAND! 

 

On Monday October 23rd, the first day of Early Voting, everyone is invited to join AFL-CIO President John Sweeney at a South Florida Leadership Meeting to talk about the work that’s needs to be done in the remaining days of the campaign. IBEW International President Ed Hill is also scheduled to attend. Also confirmed are our endorsed candidates for Congress, Ron Klein (CD-22), Tim Mahoney (CD-16) and our endorsed candidate for Lt. Governor Daryl Jones. The Alliance for Retired Americans in Florida will officially endorse Ron Klein at the meeting. 

 

We have 3 weeks until Election Day – we can REALLY make the difference in congressional races, the Governor’s race and other legislative races across the State – and position ourselves for the 2008 Presidential Race – That’s why we need to TURNOUT our members like never before  -- this election is our to win!!!
