We have reached an agreement with BellSouth to extend the BSLD current working agreement, which was to expire March 19, 2005, until December 31, 2005. 

In addition to extending the terms of the current agreement, we also have agreed to the following:              

               • Wages were increased by 1%  3/20/05

               • All employees will receive a lump sum of 4% of their annualized basic pay

               • Pension band will increase 3% 7/01/05              

We have agreed to this extension with the hopes of bringing BSLD more in line with the BST agreement once the rules are lifted in September.
