AT&T was proud to brag that they moved up to # 8 on the Fortune 500,
based on Revenues.
See http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune500/2009/full_list/
Please note who is number 1-7.
1-Exxon Mobile;
2-Wall-Mart Stores;
3-Chevron;
4-ConocoPhillips;
5-General Electric;
6-General Motors;
7-Ford Motor;
All 7 took in more than AT&T's $124.028 Billion, however not
all 7 had more profits than AT&T!

(if you get 404 error message change 200 to
2009)
to see the 100 Best Companies to Work for.
Guess what number AT&T is. Hint they are below # 96 who is
T-Mobile.
They are below SRA International who is # 100. That 's right they,
AT&T,
did not even make the top 100.
Those are the facts! AT&T should not be comparing themselves to
Chrysler, Ford or GM!
It is true that Comcast is our competition but note they are # 68 on
Fortune 500 list generating
$34.256 Billion in revenues and $2.547 Billion in profit.
We built this company and made it what it is today. We should not have to grovel
for a raise or
for our Health Care benefits. Don't let anybody tell you any different!
You should proudly tell all who
will listen HOW PROFITABLE AT&T IS!
Remember AT&T only made $3.1 Billion profit in the first quarter of
2009 and they want more!
Tell them not from my pocket. Raising Health Care costs to employees is
a bad idea!
